During the last decade, our healthcare costs have consistently increased. We have higher and higher copays (where before we had none with an HMO), we no longer have HMO availabilty in most places, our prescription drug costs keep rising, and becoming more restrictive as to what we can get. Our copays for doctors visits have not only risen, but the number of times we can go and not have to pay the total cost is limited to 5 per family per year! These benefits are no longer golden OR 100% paid.

Lets see, Just about 5 or 6 years ago, I had no copays, and HMO, no pharmacy copays. Then, $2 pharmacy, then $5, now $10 with all kinds of stipulations about generics etc. Oh, and for maintenance drugs, I HAVE to do it mail order.
And Dr visits, lets see, from nothing, to $10 copays, and NOW $25 copays, and only allowed 5 per FAMILY per year! Then I pay full cost. Lets see, 2 per year mandatory for diabetes, and then I have 2 teens and a wife yet..... Last year my son had a bad ingrown toe, so a trip to the doc, then to the podiatrist so there went 2. Oh, and NO HMO available. Better not really get sick. But no, WE haven't made any concessions have we?!
